For those of you who did not get the “i”Annoyed portion of this title, its regarding anything made by Apple. I have read an article regarding the Apple iPod, iMac, or iPhone in just about every issue of the Bruin. Personally, I am sick of hearing about Apple! The articles do nothing but glorify Apple. What is so great about the iPod; which becomes obsolete in about 6 months and has its battery life diminish by half in that period, the iMac; with its inability to be personalized, the iPhone; with its $400 price tag and its mostly useless features.
While Apple fanboys, who’ve been struck by the trend that many teenagers seem to be partaking in with the buying of Apple products have failed to realize that an MP3 player known as the Zune has been gaining popularity; offering more than the iPod, with the ability to be customized and being available at the same price. They have failed to acknowledge that a PC delivers more value and performance than an iMac; I have not experienced any problems with Vista as the myth about it raves and as Apple propaganda might want you to believe, including those annoying commercials with Justin Long.
As for the iPhone, in one word, NO! Another no to its high price; I have to buy my phone so, it’s too high for this teen. It’s useless, I don’t believe it to be so amazing to view voice mail or browse the internet on a phone. If you have failed to realize it yet, I am not part of the “i”Trend and I am sick of hearing about it every Bruin issue. I only see the favor of Apple products by young generations as a means of finding an identity through a product.
